Construction and validation of nomogram. (a) The prediction nomogram integrating the risk score and multiple clinical risk factors to predict 1-, 3-, or 5-year survival in OSCC patients. Each factor corresponds to a point value at the top row, indicating their contribution to the OS of OSCC patients. These values were summed to obtain a total point. Then, a line was drawn from the location of “total points” downward to the survival axis to determine the possibility of 1-, 3-, or 5-year survival. (b-j) Calibration curves show that the predictive survival fit actual survival well at 1-year (b), 3-years (c), and 5-years (d) in the training set.
