The methyltransferase inhibitor (5-Aza) induced demethylation in CRC cell lines by MSP, U: unmethylated, M: methylated. b Treatment with 5-Aza alters the ARID1A mRNA expression in a cell line-dependent manner. Relative ARID1A mRNA expression before and after 5-Aza treatment were examined by Real-Time RT-PCR. ARID1A mRNA expression was normalized to GAPDH mRNA. Demethylation treatment restored ARID1A mRNA expression in SW48, SW742, LS180, HT29 cell line by RT-PCR.
