Proliferation assay of colorectal cancer cells in the presence of A. oxyphylla. a HCT-116 and b SW480 cells were treated with various concentrations of A. oxyphyllal at different time points. Cell numbers were measured by the Cell Proliferation Assay (Promega) after adding an indicated dose of A. oxyphylla. DMSO was used as a control. The results from five independent experiments are shown as mean ± SD with statistical significance displayed as *p < 0.05, ***p < 0.001, compared to DMSO-treated cells
