HER2 FISH: In four different tumor areas 80 tumor cells were counted, the mean HER2 gene copy number was 4.0/tumor cell, and 1,62/Chr 17. However, 43% of tumor cells showed HER2 gene amplification with a mean HER2 gene copy number of 4.6/tumor cell and 2.4/Chr 17. Furthermore, polysomy was identified in 36% of tumor cells with a mean of 3,6 Chr 17/tumor cell. The final conclusion was HER2 negative status of the metastatic tumor
