Transcriptional regulation of AP-1-regulated genes in breast and pancreatic cancer cells by R269C-ER. COLO-1 cells (a, b) PANC-1 cells (c, d) and MCF-7 cells (e, f) were transiently transfected with either WT-ER or R269C-ER constructs and treated with a control vehicle for 24 h. mRNA levels of cyclin D1 and IGF1-R were determined 48 h after transfection by quantitative RT-PCR.
