Continued trastuzumab treatment induces changes in tumor cytokine levels. Day 7 control and trastuzumab treated tumors (24 h after three doses of treatment) were evaluated for murine VEGF-A, TNF-α, IL-1β, CCL21, CCL7, and CXCL10 cytokine levels. A significant decrease in VEGF-A (P = 0.008) was observed in treated tumors compared to control. A significant increase in TNF-α (P = 0.024), IL-1β (P = 0.032), CCL21 (P = 0.016), CCL7 and CXCL10 (P = 0.008) was observed in treated tumors compared to control
