Navitoclax potentiates apoptosis and cytotoxicity greater in combination with GQC-05 than with doxorubicin, cytarabine, or (+)-JQ1. The AML cell lines KG-1a was treated with vehicle (DMSO), 3 μM (+)-JQ1, 3 μM Cytarabine (Cyt), 2 μM Doxorubicin (Dox) or 600 nM GQC-05 in combination with either vehicle (DMSO) or 100 nM Navitoclax for 6 h. a-b Treated cells were assayed for (a) cell number and (b) Caspase 3/7 activity after 6 h and normalized to vehicle treated cells. Quadruplicate wells were measured for each experiment and the graph of three biological replicate was plotted as mean +/− SD. * P < 0.0001
