Diagnostic and prognostic power of CASC9 and HOTAIR in different HNSCC tissue sets. (a) Diagnostic power was determined by ROC curve analysis for CASC9 in the TCGA data set, the BN set and the DUS set and demonstrated excellent tumor specificity of CASC9. The same analysis was performed for lncRNA HOTAIR (b). 95% confidence interval values are given in brackets. Prognostic power was determined by Kaplan-Meier analysis.
