Collagen fibril diameter. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) was used to analyze collagen fibrils. Collagen fibril diameter distribution and average fibril diameter per tumor in MDA-MB-231 (n = 7) (a) and MDA-MB-468 mammary fat pad tumors (n = 7) (b) showed a shift towards thinner fibrils in α11-KO mice compared to WT.
