HDAC inhibitor treatment significantly impacts SW13 cell lectin binding and sulfation status. Total protein was isolated from SW13 control cells and SW13 cells that had been treated with 1 nM FK228 for 24 h (n = 4 per group). a FK228 treated SW13 cells have significantly higher levels of GAG-chain sulfation compared to SW13 control cells. b Lysates were subjected to lectin microarray analysis. Histograms of the fluorescence intensities lectins which were differentially bound between SW13 control cells and FK228 treated cells are shown.
