Inhibition of cell viability by everolimus and metformin is glucose-dependent
MCF-7 (a), MDA-MB-231 (b) and T47D (c) cells cultured in 11 mM or 2.75 mM glucose-containing medium were treated with everolimus (1-50 nM) and/or metformin (1 and 5 mM) for 96 h. Cell viability was measured using an MTT assay. IC50-values were calculated for everolimus and metformin in high and low glucose conditions (d).
