P38 and JNK inhibitors afforded protection against CPS-induced apoptosis. a 786-O cells were treated by monotherapy of CPS, or combined therapy of CPS with pretreatment of P38 inhibitor (SB203580, 20 μM) or JNK inhibitor (SP600125, 10 μM) for 4 h, respectively, Then, cell viability was measured by CCK8 assays. b Pretreatment of SB203580 or SP600125 inhibited the caspases activation induced by CPS, which was measured by western blot. c, d and e The results of the western blot were quantified and expressed in histograms.
