Representative case of complete response group. Maximum intensity projection images of 18F-FDG PET/CT at (a) initial examination, and (b) 4 months after from withdrawal of MTX were displayed. Multiple 18F-FDG -avid lesions was found in the whole body (SUVmax 9.2, WBMTV 44.3 ml, WBTLG 191.1 ml). The patient underwent 18F-FDG PET/CT again after cessation of MTX, which showed that multiple lesions on PET completely resolved. Regarding the metabolic activity of inflammation with Rheumatoid Arthritis, abnormal 18F-FDG uptake was appeared in large joints in a second PET/CT scans
