  1. While near half of the cases are caused by acute or chronic pancreatitis, another 45.8 % are associated with neoplastic conditions (other: acinar cystadenocarcinoma, ACC of the liver, serous cystadenoma, HCC, gastric carcinoma with pancreatic infiltration, adenocarcinoma of unknown primary)
