MG glycates M2 insert of PKM2 enzymes. Purified protein complex from EAC was treated with 1 mM MG for 5 days at room temperature. MG treated or untreated samples were run on 7.5–15 % SDS-PAGE gel followed by mass spectroscopy analysis for PKM2. Area nearby glycated peptide’s peak is magnified.
