Deferasirox induced S and G2-M cell cycle arrest in glioblastoma cells but only under normoxic conditions. Cell cycle distribution in U251 glioblastoma cells cultivated at 21 % (a) or 3 % (b) of oxygen and in U87 glioblastoma cells cultivated at 21 % (c) or 3 % (d) of oxygen in untreated condition (CONT) or 3 days after treatment with 10 μM of deferasirox (DFX) in non-irradiated condition (0 Gy) or following irradiation with 16 Gy (16 Gy).
