Invasion of HSC-3 cells through Myogel and Matrigel®. HSC-3 cells were allowed to invade for 12 – 48 h through Myogel and Matrigel® (a). Three different Myogel batches were compared to Matrigel® in HSC-3 cells invasion (b). Invasion of HSC-3 cells in different mixtures of Myogel and Matrigel® (c). Invasion pattern of HSC-3 cells through Myogel and Matrigel® (d). In a and b the number of Transwell®s was three in every group, in c Transwell® number was six in the control group and three in the other groups, cells from six areas of each Transwell® were calculated. Each invasion assay (a, b and c) was performed as an independent experiment. Controls were Transwell®s without coating.
