HR deficient ovarian cancer cell lines derived from patients show higher sensitivity to IGF-1Rki. Over activation of IGF-1R pathway was observed by western blotting in cells having no BRCA1 expression (a). HR functionality was determined using RAD51 foci (green) formation following cisplatin treatment.
