Effect of BC cells on the transcription of OC genes in PBMCs and inhibition by Everolimus. RNA levels of TRAcP, Cat-K, c-fms and RANK in PBMCs after incubation with CM from BC cells, before and after treatment with Everolimus. Transcripts were variably increased in both cell lines, particularly c-fms by MDA-MB-231, and significantly down-regulated by Everolimus. RNA levels were normalized to control OCs and to β-actin levels as house-keeping gene, and expressed as 2-ΔΔCT
