The effect of estrogen on ETS-1 transcriptional activity. SH-SY5Y cells were co-transfected with EBS (a-e), mmp1 (f), mmp9 (g), c-Met (h) and uPA (i) reporters; then treated with indicated concentration of E2 (17-β-estradiol, the agonist of ERα), ICI-182780 (the antagonist of ERα), HGF (hepatocyte growth factor, the agonist of c-Met) or ARQ-197 (the antagonist of c-Met). Cells were harvested and determined by the Luciferase assays. The values are the mean ± SD from three independent experiments. * P < 0.05
