  1. Annexin-V-Fluos staining results determined via Flow cytometry. Total populations acquired were plotted in terms of both single and dual fluorophores. Dual channel plots were divided in to quadrants: Q1: Necrotic cells, Q2: Late apoptotic/Dead cells, Q3: Viable cells, Q4: Early apoptotic cells. Single channel plots were used to determine total numbers of cells labelled with Annexin-V or propidium iodide. Table 1 shows average values for individual gating of both dual and single channel plots + SEM. Statistical analysis was performed via Student’s t-test
