CD44 and CD151 immunocytochemistry. NF, TF and CSCC7 cells express comparable amounts of CD44 on their cell surface. CD151 was similarly positive on fibroblasts and tumor cells. Strong staining was detected between tightly packaged CSCC7 cells in tumor nests, which faded on the surface of scattered tumor cells separated by TF cells in direct co-cultures.
