Integrin Western blot results in direct and indirect co-cultures. In case of fibroblasts, mainly thrombospondin (α4β1 αvβ3), fibronectin (α5β1, αvβ1, αvβ3), tenascin (αvβ3), vitronectin (αvβ3, αvβ5) and VCAM-1 (α4β1) binding integrin pairs are visible, while tumor cells only show weak binding, with the expression of mostly laminin-binding integrin pairs (α3β1, α6β1, α6β4). Panel A shows Western blot results of integrins in direct co-culture, and panel B in indirect co-cultures.
