Inhibition of IGF-I and ErbB receptors with NVP-AEW541 and lapatinib in pancreatic cancer cell lines. (A) Basal levels of IGF-I and ErbB receptors and their signaling pathway components. Cells cultured to approximately 90% confluence were lysed and proteins in lysates were analyzed by Western blot. (B) Dose–response curves and IC50 values for NVP-AEW541 and lapatinib in the panel of cell lines. Cells were treated 24 h after seeding with increasing concentrations of NVP-AEW541 or lapatinib, and cell viability was measured by MTT assay 72 h after the start of treatment.
