Reducing GGT7 expression increases GBM cell growthin vivo. (A) GBM cells with a Dox-inducible shRNA to GGT7 (shGGT7) reduced endogenous GGT7. GAPDH was used as a protein load control. Fold difference is represented below each blot. Cell growth of U87 (B) and U138 (C) shGGT7 cells induced with Dox under normal nutrient (10% serum) and low nutrient (1% serum) growth conditions. (D) NSG mice were injected with U87 shGGT7 cells transduced with green fluorescent protein-luciferase. Luminescent mouse images were obtained 15 days after injection. (E) Luminescence levels were shown using a box-whisker plot showing quantitated luminescence (photons/sec) levels.
