Changes in the proliferation of esophageal cancer cell lines after addition of HGF and FGF1, 7, and 10. Data for representative cell lines are shown as bar graphs. Proliferation is significantly induced by HGF in KYSE220 and KYSE170 cell lines. Significant proliferation of TE-11 and TE-14 is induced by FGF1 at a concentration of 1 ng/mL or higher. Significant proliferation of KYSE50 and TE-15 is induced by FGF7 at a concentration of 2 ng/mL or higher. For each cell line, the P-value is less than 0.001 on one-way analysis of variance. Dunnet’s test was used for comparison with the control group, and P-values were calculated. The Y axis indicates the absorbance.
