Ovarian germ cell tumour. Pre and post treatment CT scans of the pelvis showing an enormous ovarian germ cell tumour filling the abdomen and pelvis prior to chemotherapy treatment. The residual mass in the post treatment scan was resected and was composed entirely of necrotic material. The treatment graph shows the tumour produced hCG level falling to normal within the first month of treatment. The low level of pituitary hCG production secondary to amenorrhea resolved with the restarting of menstruation 12 months after completion of treatment.
