Ectopic expression of Par3 protein enhances adhesiveness of the LNCaP cells. (A). 2 × 10⁴ of LNCaP cells stably expressing Par3 protein or transfected with empty vector (EGFP) were seeded over fibronectin or collagen Type I pre-coated wells of a 96-well plate and incubated at 37°C for three hours, as described in the "Methods" section. After washing the wells with Dulbecco's phosphate-buffered saline the numbers of attached cells were calculated as the average from eight wells. The results were presented as the mean value ± S.D. The experiment was repeated three times with similar results. (B).
