Survival curves were constructed according to the Kaplan-Meier method and statistical significance was determined by the log-rank test. 1: control group; 2: gemcitabine group; 3: ginsenoside Rg3 group; 4: combination group. P < 0.05 vs control group; P < 0.05 vs gemcitabine group; P < 0.05 vs ginsenoside Rg3 group. Combined therapy with ginsenoside Rg3 and gemcitabine enhanced efficacy on suppression of tumor growth and prolongation of the survival.
