Effect of berberine on As 2 O 3 -inhibited motility of C6 glioma and U-87 cells. (A) Cells were incubated with 5 μM As2O3 or 10 μM berberine and co-treated with 5 μM and 10 μM berberine for 24 h. The lower and upper chemotaxis cells were separated by a polycarbonate membrane. Microscopy images detected cells that migrated into the inner membrane. Magnification: ×200. The cell migration was quantified by counting the number of cells that migrated into the inner membrane (B). Control cells remained untreated.
