Control of melanoma cell line 3 H-thymidine incorporation after combination gamma-irradiation andUV-irradiation. Melanoma cell lines were non-irradiated, gamma-irradiated (200 Gy), UV-irradiated (5 min), or both gamma-irradiated (200 Gy) and UV-irradiated (5 min). The cell lines were then cultured in vitro for five days prior to the addition of 3H-thymidine for 18 to 24 hr. The data are presented as percent maximal 3H-thymidine incorporation in comparison to the non-irradiated control. The dashed horizontal bar indicates 5% maximal 3H-thymidine incorporation.
