Control of melanoma cell line 3 H-thymidine incorporation after combination gamma-irradiation andUV-irradiation. Melanoma cell lines (A) VMM39 and (B) VMM86 were non-irradiated or treated with varying combinations of gamma-irradiation or UV-irradiation. The cell lines were then cultured in vitro for five days prior to the addition of 3H-thymidine for 18 to 24 hr. The dashed horizontal bar indicates 5% maximal 3H-thymidine incorporation.
