Native human autoantibodies targeting GIPC1 identify differential expression in malignant tumors of the breast and ovary

Difference between the number of GIPC-positive cases detected by 27.B1 and 27.F7 antibodies was significant (p < 0.045) in borderline tumor only. Table 2 summarizes the results obtained from the immunohistochemistry of the ovarian tissues and illustrates the difference in staining percentage (positive cases out of the total number of samples studied) between different tissues, implying differential incidence of GIPC1 enhanced expression.
