Influence of E2 and antioxidants on formation of radiation-induced MN in MCF-7 cells. A fraction of cells were individually irradiated with 1 3He2+ particle. The predicted yields of MN assuming no bystander effect were calculated from the yield of MN when 100% of cells were irradiated with antioxidant treatment (*, P < 0.05 compared to the MN yield of MCF-7 cells without E2 treatment).
