Q-RT-PCR data are expressed as mean +/- standard error of the mean (SEM), * P < 0.05, ** P < 0.001, n = 16 and 14, respectively. Fold increase above 1 indicates chemokine overexpression in affected tissues related to unaffected neighbor tissues, respectively.
