ST-3 over-expression increases tumour take of MDA-MB-231 cells in vivo. A pool of equal parts of three cell clones (total cell number: 2 × 10⁶) was injected in 50 μl of a 1:1 matrigel/PBS mixture into the mammary fatpad of nude mice. Tumour take was monitored twice a week. Groups included eight animals each. Stars indicate a p-value ≤ 0.05.
