In this panel we show sections of invasive ductal carcinoma of the breast incubated with different primary antibodies and stained with the streptavidin-biotin-peroxidase complex. A) Bcl-2 antibody is localized in the cytoplasm of malignant cells and infiltrating lymphocytes are also immunoreactive. B) ERα antibody is present primarily in the nuclei of malignant cells; some cells are negative. C) ERβ antibody is localized in the nuclei of most cancer cells. D) Negative control.(400×).
