(A) Comparison of protein levels in total cell lysate and plasma membrane fractions by Western blotting. (B) Normalizing membrane nucleolin levels to levels in the less-advanced parental cell lines of each progression model, reveals that membrane nucleolin levels are higher than parental in both C4-2 and PC3M. Nucleolin levels were 30% higher in prostate parental cells compared to normal (p69 and RWPE-2) prostate epithelial cells (data not shown).
