  1. Levels of endothelial markers was detected by cytofluorimetric analysis after cell staining with a specific conjugated Abs. An irrelevant isotypic Ab (isotype) was used as control of aspecific binding. Data represent the median fluorescent intensity (MFI ± SD) detected on the cell isolates at all culture passages used (1–6). All markers were significantly different versus isotypic control (p < 0.001), as evaluated using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov statistical analysis.
