Loss of CD73 on vascular endothelial cells did not affect B16-F10 tumor growth. (A, B) B16-F10 cells (25 × 104) were injected subcutaneously into the hindlimb of loxP and endothelium specific CD73−/− (eCD73−/−) mice and MRI measurement of tumor and peritumoral edema were performed for 18 days post injection (n = 7). Compared with WT mice (n = 10) loxP and eCD73−/− mice showed a significantly increased tumor growth (p = 0.04 for loxP and p = 0.03 for eCD73−/− mice respectively on day 18) and a trend towards an increased peritumoral edema formation (p = 0.07 and p = 0.08 respectively on day 18).
