Boyden chamber data showing the number of cells present on the lower compartment of a transwell membrane after 24 h. MDA-MB-231 cells displayed the greatest number of cells present. On average MDA-MB-231 exhibited a 29% increase in cell count in the presence of the CXCL12 gradient. The collagen I gel barrier proved to discriminate against the MCF10A and MCF7 cells migratory ability more so than the MDA-MB-231 cells.
