Curcumin regulates FABP5 via NF-κ B. (A) MDA-MB-231 cells were treated with 30 μM curcumin, total protein extracted and probed for p65. β-tubulin was used as a loading control (B) MDA-MB-231 cells were treated with 25 μM PDTC, cell lysates were resolved with SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with antibodies recognizing p65 or FABP5. β-tubulin was used as a loading control. (C) MDA-MB-231 cells were transfected with control and p65 siRNA for 24 hours, protein extracted and expression level of p65 and FABP5 was examined by immunoblotting with antibodies recognizing p65 and FABP5, respectively. β-tubulin was used as a loading control.
