From: Feasibility of isometric spinal muscle training in patients with bone metastases under radiation therapy - first results of a randomized pilot trial

  Mean SD Min Median Max

Psychological stress (pts. 1–6) 2.1 0.8 1.1 1.9 4.6
Teatment effect (previous vs. after) p < .001 in both parameters
Difference T0-T2 p < .001 in both parameters

Pain medication needed (n, %)   4 (13.3)
  1. This table shows the results of a questionnaire previous and after intervention respective feeling sluggish and psychological stress (pt 1 = least to pt 6 = most). Treatment effect (previous vs. after training) and difference in both parameters were significant (p < .001). Pain during intervention was documented according VAS-scale (0–10). Concomitant pain medication during intervention was evaluated (number of patients, %).
