Relations between EGFR mutations and outcomes. Kaplan-Meier curve analysis showed that EGFR mutation status was significantly associated with survival. (A) The 5-year overall survival rate was higher in patients with EGFR mutations (90.2%) than in those with wild-type EGFR (75.2%) in the younger group (P < 0.001). (B) In the older group, the 5-year disease free survival rate was 100% among patients with EGFR mutations; however, the difference between the two groups was not significant.
