The effects of docetaxel on the M-phase arrest in MCF-7 CC and MCF-7 TXT cells. The effects of docetaxel on the chromosome condensation and M-phase arrest of MCF-7CC and MCF-7TXT cells were examined by live imaging. MCF-7 cells were incubated with DMEM containing 250 ng/ml Hoechst 33342 (Calbiochem) for 10 minutes to stain DNA. Then, the cells were incubated with docetaxel of indicated concentration. The images of cell mitosis were recorded every 2 minutes by live imaging. (A) MCF-7TXT cells treated with 100 nM Docetaxel. (B) MCF-7CC cells treated with 100 nM Docetaxel.
