Cox Proportional Hazards Model for the risks of lymph node metastasis, primary site recurrence, distant metastasis, and OSCC death. 14c or 4d of the histopathologic classification of oral squamous cell carcinoma according to Yamamoto et al., 1983 (10). 2Major width of the tumor was categorized into >30 mm and ≤30 mm. 3 T3 to T4 of tumor (T) category according to the International Union Against Cancer (UICC) TNM classification of malignant tumors of the lip and oral cavity. 4Histological tumor positive of the surgical margin. 5Death outcome from uncontrollable oral squamous cell carcinoma. Continuous variables of gene expression ratios are categorized according to the cut off points introduced by receiver operating characteristic curves.
