Find the value of each variables on the variable axis and draw a vertical line upward to the ‘Points’ axis and determine the corresponding points for the variable. Sum the points achieved for each variables and locate this sum on the ‘Total Points’ axis. Draw a vertical line down to the 5-year probability axis to determine the patient’s probability of developing metachronous MPC within 5 years of gastrectomy.
