Immunohistochemical staining of Cygb, PI3K and p-Akt in low and high grade of glioma tissues. Negative control (NC) of low (a) and high (A) grade gliomas showed no positive staining cells. Strong and diffused expression of Cygb was found in low-grade gliomas (b); in high-grade gliomas, positive staining of Cygb was shown focally and weakly (B). Low-grade gliomas showed low expression of PI3K (c) and p-Akt (d) positive tumor cells in serial section. High expression of PI3K (C) and p-Akt (D) was shown in high-grade gliomas.
