mRNA expression of GAS6 and IGFBP4 . ANormalized gene expression levels of GAS6 and IGFBP4 in osteosarcoma biopsies, cell lines, mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), and osteoblasts (OB). Expression of both proteins is considerably higher in the controls (FDR-adjusted P<0.001 for both genes in all four analyses). BKaplan-Meier curves depicting metastasis-free survival in years for 83 high-grade osteosarcoma patients (for 1/84 patients, we did not have follow-up data available), based on quartiles of mRNA expression of the genes of interest.
