HP1γ expression correlates with Ki-67. VECTRA™ technology was used for automated image attainment and analysis per the manufacturer’s protocol to assess immunoflourescent staining of Ki-67 and HP1γ. Pearson correlation coefficients yielded significant relationships between mean intensity expression of nuclear Ki-67 and A) total ( P = 0.34), B) nuclear ( P = 0.32), and C) cytoplasmic ( P = 0.562) HP1γ.
